Love is in the air! Good afternoon everyone. This past Saturday was Valentine's Day. My dad bought me a rose. It was so soft and pretty. Also, it smelled like outside but not regular outside. Have you ever been to an arboretum? It smelled like that but sweeter. I loved my rose. So I decided to inspect my rose. I noticed it had layers called petals and I dug deeper. I found the center. It had yellow sticks called pollen. Unfortunately, you cannot put a rose back together. I am not sure I would have explored the greatness of nature if I knew I could not keep it. Oh well, I will chalk it up to a fantastic learning experience. On another note, my friends Michael and

Leah came by. I was not my usual cheery self but I am not to blame. I was forced into the cold with no gloves, milk or crackers. I blame my parents and this won't be the last time they mess up. Luckily, I am a forgiving and mature lady so I will try to take the high road. We did eat Chinese food and we discussed the wonders of the world and I peed on the floor. Just a typical President's Day if you ask me. Not too much else happened this week. Fun and merriment was had but nothing to write home about. I hope everything is going well in each of your lives. In the spirit of Valentine's Day, I would like to say I love you all. I have grown weary and I must rest my eyes. Until next week... -Maggie
This week: I took a train ride around the house with my bear and I played with my friends Michael and Leah.
