Back to Dallas

Good afternoon! As you can see, I have been on yet another plane ride. We flew back to Dallas last week. My mom and dad had to go to a wedding for their very good friends Neal and Annie. I like them too however, I was in Dallas to entertain my grandparents and friends. While in Dallas, I had my first, and may I add the best, babysitter ever. I love her. Erica, that is my babysitter's name, let me eat yogurt all by myself with a spoon and we played with bubbles and we took pictures and I even stayed up past my bedtime. I am not sure what happened at that wedding but I know I had more fun than anyone. Leaving Dallas was difficult although I must admit, my mom does not always clue me into when exactly our trips will end. I was not ready to say good-bye but I was ready to see my dad again. He had to go back to work in NYC but I persuaded my mom to stay in Dallas for the rest of the week. Don't tell my mom but my grandparents spoil me. Well, my dad met us at the airport and he gave me the biggest hug he has ever given me. I gave him one right back. So now we are home in Brooklyn. It is definitely colder but it feels like home. Ooh, smells like lunch. Baked Ziti and a nice cold glass of milk. Until next week... - Maggie
Over the past few weeks I: saw all my friends, had a laugh with my friend Neal, ate cupcakes with my cousins, had a party and after it was all over I took a nap with my dad

Happy New Year

Hello everyone. It has been a while and a lot has happened during my absence. It has been snowing here a little bit. I love to play in the snow but it takes absurdly long to get dressed for the snow. I was not quite sure why my mom made me bundle up layer after layer until I took my mittens off...and fell in the snow. It was cold. I was cold. It was sad. My dad quickly warmed my hands and I hope I remember this lesson for years to come. Forgive me if I soon forget. Well, with the snow comes Christmas. This year we went to Dallas and spent the joyous season with our family. I had so much fun with my grandparents, uncles, aunts and my cousin Scarlett. I must admit, I was nervous. I had told Santa previously of our move and forgot to inform him of our vacation. After mass on Christmas Eve, I went to sleep and when I woke...SANTA CAME! He did and he filled my stocking and left me presents. I felt just like a newborn again. After all the festivities of Christmas, we came back to Brooklyn. Unfortunately, I threw up for the first time. Guess what? Not all "FIRSTS" are happy. Equally upsetting was the fact that my parents fell victim to the same fate. We are all better now. I was even able to cheer my Longhorn football team to victory last night. Of course, by cheer I mean sleep with my stuffed BEVO. I must be going because although I do not want to, I must take the Christmas tree down. It is the epiphany today. The wise men have found our sweet baby Jesus and so the time has come to say good-bye to Christmas. Until next week... - Maggie
During my vacation: Santa came, I played with my toys, I played with my cousin Scarlett and I wrote Thank You notes (my mom is in charge of sending them).
