IT'S A BOY!!!

Good Afternoon! At last, it has been decided. Turns out I am having a baby brother!!! I have been patiently awaiting the doctor's decision and was given the good news yesterday. We are all very excited. I have also been told he is healthy and happy. There is another reason to be excited this week. We found a new home. We move from Brooklyn, NY to Ridgewood, NJ in June and I cannot tell you how much I have to do before the big move. I must have 10 toys I have never thrown into the toilet here and I still have not managed to press the elevator alarm button. The list goes on and on. I am ready for a new adventure, a new toilet and a new city to explore. I hope my parents find a home for me soon though. I know wherever it is, it will be perfect! I must make this entry short. My granny is coming to visit tomorrow and I want to paint her a mural of Brooklyn. I need grey paint, string and a cup of milk. Better get to work!
Until next week... -Maggie
This week: I played in the sink, I ate crackers, I played with my friend Jordon and I dressed up like a hobbit.

Not Every Week is Fabulous

Hello and a happy Tuesday to you all! Unfortunately, it has been less than a fantastic week. First of all, I had an extremely high fever for a few days followed by a really bad rash. Turns out it was harmless and I was allowed to have lots of baths to keep my fever down. I had so much fun splashing and playing with my bath toys. I feel great now! Next, my friends left. My Aunt Jackie and Uncle Josh lived upstairs for a while but now they don't. I am sure they decided I was much too loud in the mornings for their liking but I promise to be quiet if they come back. Honestly, I can't promise that. I am a loud girl. I love to yell and laugh and play. But I would love them to come back. Lastly, we spent all of Saturday in a car. All day. And it was so sunny and beautiful outside. I was told we were going to look for a new home but I like the one we have now. I am slowly beginning to understand how this younger sibling of mine is going to mess up my good thing. On some more positive notes, I got to play with my Aunt Jackie and Uncle Josh all week, I saw my cousins, Aunt Shannon and Uncle Eoghan when we were in Ridgewood looking for a new home and I am still so happy about all the baths I was able to squeeze in this week. And as my cousin Molly always says, "Don't cry because it is over, SMILE because it happened!" Well, I smell dinner. I believe it is a black bean, brown rice and cheese quesadilla. Yum. Yum. Until next week... -Maggie This week: I went house hunting, ate pizza, traveled the city with my Aunt Jackie and Uncle Josh and played with sticks in the burbs.

It Is Good To Be Home!

Good Evening Everyone! Well, Dallas was great. I saw my grandparents, my uncles and even some friends. I went to the park, I ate chocolate and I even drank an iced coffee. Basically, I grew up this week. And in the end, I was so happy to get home and see my dad. On the plane ride home, my mom decided to cheap out on me and we had to share a seat. I mean, I know she has a baby in that belly of hers but honestly, talk about a seat hog. All I wanted to do was watch Wow Wow Wubzy and do a few somersaults. And of course I needed to stretch my legs. However, my mom thought it would be more fun to "sit still". Yeah right. I was ecstatic when we landed in New York but I also missed my family in Dallas. I cannot wait to see each of them again. In other news, Easter was this past Sunday. We went to Ridgewood to see my cousins, Aunt Shannon and Uncle Eoghan. My friends, Aunt Jackie and Uncle Josh, came to visit me and they came with us. We hunted Easter eggs, ate candy, laughed, played and jumped on the gigantic trampoline. What a glorious day it was! I had a wonderful vacation and I had a fabulous Easter. My word, it is getting late and I must be going to bed. Until next week...-Maggie
This week: I played with my loud monkey toy, entertained my grandparents, aunts and uncles, went to the playground at McDonald's, rode in my cardboard car, saw my dad, played with my cousins and fell asleep on the train with my dad on the way home from our Easter outing.

They Cut My Hair

I know friends; I am late. My mom and dad have really been cracking the whip on me so my time has been limited. I have been able to carve this moment out from our rigorous schedule to let you all know how things have been. Well, I received my first hair cut. I cannot lie; I was scared out of my mind. They put me in a red fire truck about 3 feet off the ground, turned on sesame street and a woman told me, "Don't worry about a thing little Maggie." Oh, and did I mention the woman was a stranger holding SCISSORS! What was I suppose to think? In the end, I looked beautiful but I am glad that activity is over. Also, I guess my mom didn't think we had enough to do so she put us on a plane to Dallas. She said something to my dad about cheap tickets and a vacation from "that little one". I am not sure who she was talking about but they seem a little needy and self centered. Don't worry though, I will make sure my mom gets a relaxing vacation even if I have to spend every minute with her. So that is where I am...Dallas. So far we are having a great time. I know this week will be great and I cannot wait to tell you all about it next week. We fly home Tuesday so I may have another Wednesday entry next week but I promise to tell you all about it. Whoops, Gramma is trying to put eggs in my shopping cart and I specifically told her apples. I must go sort this out. Until next week... -Maggie
This week: I sang in the park, I ran in the park, I got my hair cut, I watched DVDs on the airplane, I played in a box, I ate a crayon, I played on the swings and I fell asleep on my Granny
